The Car

The Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS Club Sport is one of those factory-built racing machines that rarely surfaces on the open market — and when it does, it tends to move quietly. Built in a limited run of just 200 examples worldwide, this is chassis number 121 — a fully homologated, ready-to-race 700 hp weapon delivered by Porsche's customer motorsport division.

Unlike road-going GT2 RS conversions or lightly modified track tools, the Clubsport was engineered from the ground up as a competition car. Powered by the same 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six producing 515 kW (700 hp) and mated to the seven-speed PDK, it left the factory in Weissach compliant with FIA safety regulations — full cage, racing fuel cell, and all. It also shed 80 kg versus the road GT2 RS, giving it a kerb weight of just 1,390 kg. There is nothing subtle about what this car is built to do.

Provenance

This particular example — car number 69 — was campaigned by Jan-Erik Slooten under the IronForce Racing banner in the inaugural Porsche Motorsport GT2 Supersportscar Championship, the debut race series purpose-built around these machines.

The car competed at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in July 2019, where Slooten delivered back-to-back podium finishes — P2 in Race 1 and P2 in Race 2 — against an international field that included Chris Hoy, Klaus Abbelen, and championship winner Egidio Perfetti. Two podiums from two races at arguably the greatest circuit in the world. As Slooten put it himself:

"That was a really cool weekend here in Spa. It was an historic occasion with the Porsche GT2 races. I'm pleased to have climbed the podium twice. It was so much fun driving the new car."

The car carries that history without apology — and at just 2,000 miles, it wears it lightly.

Specification Highlights

Presented in Solid White over a full carbon-intensive package, the car has been treated to a full PPF wrap with a satin finish over the white panels — preserving the bodywork beneath while giving it an understated, purposeful look on or off the trailer.

The carbon package fitted to this example is substantial:

• Carbon fibre rear spoiler
• Carbon fibre rear bumper

Inside, the cabin is configured for competition with a full FIA-specification roll cage, two racing seats fitted with six-point harnesses, and a quick-release steering wheel. Air conditioning has been retained — useful for track days, endurance formats, and road-to-track events where comfort over a longer stint matters.

The Opportunity
